Heung-A Shipping Co., Ltd., a leading affiliate of Heung-A Group which is a land, sea and air transportation conglomerate, was established in December 1961 and started conventional liner service between Korea and Japan. Over the past three decades, Heung-A Shipping has been expanding its service area ranging from Japan to Southeast Asia. In addition to expansion of service area, Heung-A Shipping enlarged its vessel fleet up to 40 vessels including 15 chemical tankers with which Heung-A Shipping is providing container liner service and chemical tanker service as well. What is more, Heung-A Shipping has been pursuing logistically advanced system and for this purpose, Heung-A Shipping has invested into various business sectors which include port terminal, railway transportation, trucking, ICD, KL-Net, CY, CFS, warehouse and computer system, etc. In the meantime, along with Heung-A Shipping, Heung-A Group has developed and diversified its business activities into Valve manufacturing, CY/CFS, Trucking, Terminal operation, Stevedoring, Shipping agency, Airline general sales agency, International freight forwarding as NVOCC, Computer system development, Trading and Physical distribution service, etc. Through to its thirty-eight year long experience and knowledge, Heung-A Shipping will be born again as a logistically advanced ocean carrier of the upcoming 21st century.
